Late working restaurants and bars in many cosy esplanades - praça Luís
de Camões, at the heart of Cascais, is the perfect example. On new
year's eve, downtown Cascais, near the beach, is the place for one of
the best fireworks in Lisbon's region.
Some night party people see downtown just as starter, before hitting the dance floor somewhere else.
:: Marina de Cascais (Docks)
15 minutes walk away from downtown (west direction), the docks are a
modern go out at night place. Many bars, disco bars and chic stores
populate this summer nights crowded block.
:: Casino Estoril
Besides giving you the oportunity to win (or not) some coins, the largest Casino in Europe offers an intense cultural life. In summer, free night concerts are frequent. During all the year, action doesn't stop on stage with a rich variety of shows. Casino Estoril has a great tradition on new year's eve, allways presenting strong events.

10Km away from Cascais, Carcavelos's beach is a nice place to have a
drink always with sand & sea on sight. Sports Bar (easy to spot -
it's the tallest building in the middle of the beach line) organizes
dancing & thematic parties frequently.
If there is not a special party, most of the bars are a relatively quiet place to go out, and not just at night.
